In time, God gave him clarity.

If you take time to think about it, do you let emotions of the moment take over other moments?

If you get yelled at at work do you yell at your family when you get home?

If I stranger makes you angry do you take it out on people you love?

Do you believe the truth you feel in a moment of panic is the truth you need to live with for the rest of your life?

What would it be like if you could keep emotions of the moment in the moment? You would need to know how you can examine the emotions of the moment.

With someone - PAUSE

Put off responding

Pause - Take a breathe. Don’t hit send on the email. Be still and know He is God - Psalm 46:10

Awareness

Be aware of your body - what’s happening physically to you in the moment? Understand how it plays into how you feel in the moment. Psalm 139:23-24

Understand

Try to understand your emotions. Why are you responding that way? Is it sober minded? - 1 Peter 5:8-9

Soft Answers

People will response to the volume you use. Don’t respond to their level of volume. A soft answer turns away wrath. Proverbs 15:1

Examine

Look for the gold others. What does God love about them and what they’re doing? What can you appreciate about them in this moment? Tell them. Philippians 2:4
