Have you ever wondered how some people seem to exude an unshakable sense of peace, regardless of the chaos and negativity swirling around them? It's as if they possess a secret formula for maintaining tranquility at all times. In a world where stress and anxiety have become the norm, finding inner peace can feel like an elusive dream. But what if I told you that there is a way to access a state of calm and serenity no matter the circumstances?
The God of all hope fills me peace and joy as I trust in Him, so I can overflow with hope by the power of Holy Spirit. As I trust in Him, He gives me peace and joy so I can be filled with hope at all times and in every situation.
I know when I trusting Him because I have peace and joy and hope. I know I need to trust in the Lord with all my heart. It’s a decision, it’s an action and it’s an emotion. It’s a decision to trust. I say to myself, “Trust in the lord”. It’s an action I do - my trust needs to look like something. The action that shows trust is obedience to what God tells me to do.
One time God told Judah through Isaiah ““In repentance and rest is your salvation, in quietness and trust is your strength…” Repentance and rest was the action…but they would have none of it. Another time through Jahaziel God told them to “Take up your positions; stand firm and see the deliverance the Lord will give you, Judah and Jerusalem.” and they did it and saw God’s deliverance. The action that shows trust is obedience to what God tells me to do.
Finally when you do anything with your whole heart you feel the emotions of doing it with your whole heart. When you trust Him with your whole heart you feel peace and hope joy. And that’s how you can have peace at all times and in every situation. May this Negativity Fast Reflection - I Have Peace At All Times encourage you to trust God with your whole heart.
