There is so little in this world that we can convince ourselves we have a semblance of control over. Thank God we have the same power that raised Christ Jesus from the dead alive in us and working through us and that Holy Spirit empowers us to accomplish every good work prompted by faith.
It’s amazing to remember that He will finish the good work He’s started in me. God’s will is to make me more and more into the image of His Son. What did Paul write? “But by the grace of God I am what I am, and his grace to me was not without effect. No, I worked harder than all of them – yet not I, but the grace of God that was with me.” 1 Corinthians 15:10
What an incredible dance we have with the divine. We do what we can according to His will. He does what he does to see His will done. What He does is inspire, empower and enable us to do what we can according to His will.

I know the enemy prowls around like a roaring lion, but the God of peace has placed satan underneath my feet. I am forgiven and empowered to become more and more like Jesus.
