Romans 12:11-12 (NIV) Never be lacking in zeal, but keep your spiritual fervour, serving the Lord. Be joyful in hope, patient in affliction, faithful in prayer.

Lord, I thank you that you empower us to accomplish every good work prompted by faith and that includes being joyful in hope, patient in affliction, and faithful in prayer. Lord help us take our everyday-ordinary lives and lay them before you as an offering. Help us with whatever ever we do to work at it all our heart knowing we serve you and not other people. Thank you that you are with us. Help us to be with you today. Amen.
